Climate Commissioner Robert Bullard named “History Maker in the Making”

Dr. Robert Bullard, founder of the Environmental Justice Resource Center at Clark Atlanta University and a member of the Joint Center’s Commission to Engage African Americans on Climate Change, was recently named one of thegrio.com’s 100 History Makers in the Making.

“As the U.S. embarks upon huge technological shifts, history-making legislation and regulatory upgrades for the 21st century,” wrote Grio contributor Brentin Mock, “Bullard is actively playing a key role in keeping the lives of minorities and the impoverished a chief priority.”

The Grio is a division of NBC News dedicated to showcasing African American perspectives.
